Take a brown paper bag and make a puppet of a shepherd–then take a toilet tissue roll and have child cover it with glue and cotton balls to make a sheep. Read the parable of the shepherd and the lost sheep. Let the child act out being the shepherd and looking for his lost sheep.

Cut a toilet tissue holder in half lengthwise. Put the bottom on the top to form a manger. Staple together. Glue in hay. Take a peanut in the shell and draw a face on it. Wrap it up in a piece of tissue. Glue it into the manger.
