Christmas Songs For Kids

Christmas Songs For Kids

One little, two little, three little reindeer

Four little, five little, six little reindeer

Seven little, eight little, nine little reindeer

Pulling Santa’s Sleigh

We went out looking for a Christmas tree,

We went to see what we could see

The first tree we found was much too small

The second tree we found was much too tall

The third tree we found was much too broad

The fourth tree we found was thin as a rod

The fifth tree we found looked just right

So we chopped it down with all our might

We took our tree home and set it up straight

and everyone thought that it looked just great

Then we all joined hands and gathered around

The beautiful Christmas tree we had just found

I’m a little pine tree tall and straight
Here are my branches for you to decorate.
First you put the star on the very top
Just be careful that the balls don’t drop!

I KNOW A MAN (To tune of BINGO)

I know a man with a long white beard and Santa is his name-o S-A-N-T-A S-A-N-T-A S-A-N-T-A And Santa is his name-o! He slides down the chimney with a pack on his back and santa is his name-o S-A-N-T-A S-A-N-T-A S-A-N-T-A And Santa is his name-o! eight little reindeer pull his sleigh and Santa is his name-o S-A-N-T-A S-A-N-T-A S-A-N-T-A And Santa is his name-o!

This is my candy cane for all who’d like to see,
I can put it anywhere but it’s best on the tree.
It reminds me of Christmas time and of the falling snow,
But most of all when Santa goes, “Ho Ho Ho!”

Tune: Bingo

There was a big man dressed in red and Santa was his name-o
S-A-N-T-A S-A-N-T-A S-A-N-T-A
And Santa was his name-o (then repeat)

I know Someone (tune of Yogi Bear Song)

I know someone you don’t know, Santa, Santa
I know someone you don’t know, Santa, Santa Claus
Santa, Santa Claus, Santa, Santa Claus
I know someone you don’t know, Santa, Santa Claus.

The kids love the following verses:

-He lives at the North Pole Brrr, Brrrr
-He has a tummy that jiggles, jiggles
-He laughs just like this, Ho, Ho. Ho, Ho.
-He has a reindeer friend, Rudolph, blink. Rudolph, blink
-He comes down the chimney, Achoo, Achoo.

Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Star (tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star)

Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Star
Way up high is where you are
Shining bright for all to see
On the tip top of our tree
Twinkle Twinkle Christmas star
Way up high is where you are
