Rice Krispie Treat Kisses
Make a batch of rice krispie treats following the directions on the box. Before they cool, press them into a small funnel to make a Hershey’s kiss shape. (They pop in and out of funnel easily and quickly.) When cool, wrap each in aluminum foil; be sure to insert a long strip of white paper into the top of the kiss with a special message or the child’s name!
Heart Shaped Mini Pizza’s
Buy pre-made pizza dough (located in the refrigerated section of your grocery store) or make homemade pizza dough. Roll the dough out and use heart-shaped cookie cutters to make hearts out of the dough. Top the mini pizzas with sauce and cheese. Bake according to the instructions on the dough can or your homemade recipe.
Buy several packages of heart shaped pasta. You can find this kind of pasta at Trader Joes or a specialty cooking store. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package. Add butter and toss with parmesan cheese. A yummy, healthy Valentine’s Day snack!
Make as directed on Jell-O box for jigglers. Let children use heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut out hearts from the Jell-O.

Have the children spread cream cheese and strawberry jam onto a tortilla? Have the children roll the tortilla up like a log. Let the children use the plastic knives that they used to spread the cream cheese and jam to cut the rolled up tortilla into sections.
