Turkey Songs

This is a song I learned from my sons’ daycare provider. I use it in my class. The kids love it!

Five fat turkeys are we.

We spent all night in a tree.

When the cook came around,

we couldn’t be found!

So that’s why we’re here you see!

Tune: “I have a little turtle”

I have a little turkey

with feathers on his back,

I have a little turkey

with feathers on his back.

I get my little turkey

I spread some butter on,

I put it in the oven

and eat later on!

*(then you say….)

Yum, Yum, what a good turkey I just ate!!! and pretend to leak your fingers, then said haaaaaaa!

5 little pilgrims

5 little pilgrims on thanksgivings day

1st one said I’ll have cake if I may

2nd one said I’ll have turkey roasted

3rd one said I’ll have chestnuts toasted 4th one said I’ll have pumpkin pie 5th one said is that cranberries I spy but before they ate any turkey or dressing they bowed their heads for a thanksgiving blessing

Here is a cute song for Thanksgiving:

A turkey sat on a backyard fence and he sang this sad, sad tune

Thanksgiving day is coming gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble and I know I’ll be eaten soon.

Gobble, gobble, gobble

gobble, gobble, gobble., gobble

I don’t like Thanksgiving day a a a

Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble,I wish it would go away. Hey!!

The Turkey

The turkey is a funny bird,

It’s head foes wibble wobble.

But all it says is just one word,

Gobble, gobble, gobble.
