This is an idea for a Passover circle time activity. Place a doll for Baby Moshe into a basket. Tell the story of how Baby Moshe was put into a basket by his mother so that he could be saved. I usually sing a song along with the story about how sad his mother was to be sending her baby away. There is a very nice song on the tape "Mostly Matzah" that I have used. After I sing the song, and explain the story, I ask the children what they think Baby Moshe could have used in his basket to keep him happy while he was away from his mother. I ask the children, one at a time, to go bring something for Baby Moshe to use. I ask them to tell me why he would want it. When all of the children are done, I tell them that now Baby Moshe can be happy, and I leave the basket and toys out for the children to play with.
