Kite Art

The children cut out a kite shape (or have this prepared for the younger ones) and then teacher drops a few drops of paint onto the kite and the children use straws to blow (wind) the paint around on the kite. (Use one straw for each child, discard after use) A tail with fabric strips can be added later.

Give the children kite shapes cut out of white construction paper. Have them put a spoonful of paint in the middle of the kite shape. Fold the kite in half, then open it up to see a cool design!!!! Display these unique kites on your bulletin board.
