5 Little Jack-O-Lanterns faces all aglow (frame your face using your hands and smile) Along came the stormy wind (make swishing movement with arms)
Looking for some fun
Gave a huff and a puff (blow in and out)
And blew out every one (close fingers into fist and put behind your back)
“There was an old witch”
There was an old witch
Believe it if you can
She tapped on the windows and she ran, ran, ran.
She ran helter-skelter
With her toes in the air
From the old witches hair.
“Swish” goes the broomstick
“Meow” goes the cat
“Plop” goes the hoptoad
Sitting on her hat
“Whee!” chuckled I,
“What fun, what fun”
When the witches run.
The Witches are flying around, the moon is fully bright,
Pumpkins are glowing bright, and the graveyard has no sound,
Zombies are wandering around, their wrapping in a mess,
Goblins forever found, Elvira in distress!
We three ghosts of Halloween are
Scaring kids who wander too far.
Trick or treating, candy eating,
Beware the Halloween Star.
Oh……Oh……… Star of darkness, star of fright.
Star of every gruesome sight.
West winds howling, cats a-yowling,
Let’s play some tricks tonight!
We’re on sidewalks, we’re on porches, dressed in costumes to scare.
Through the city we’re ringing your doorbells.
Trick or treating, candy eating, Gooey stuff in our hair.
But the most fun is shrieking out loud,
“Shivery yells, Shivery yells!”
That’s the Halloween nitty-gritty.
“Moan and Groan. Leave us alone.
Halloween’s just once a year.”
