The Frog and I
The frog and I, the frog and I can sing and hop but cannot fly.
We both can dive, we both can swim (although I can’t compete with him).
We both have skin that’s on to stay, but mine’s not green I’m glad to say.
This was a great song for the kids to learn each others name and a great movement song as each pretended to be a frog to get to the other side.
Down on the banks…
Down on the banks of the Hanky Panky
Went _______(child’s name) goin’ from banky to banky,
With an eep, ip, oop, up,
E-Sapa-dilly and ker-plop!
Down on the Banks…
Down by the banks of the hanky panky
Where the bull frogs jump from bank to banky
With a hip hop flipity flop
Missed that banky and went kerplop!
Sing this song while sticking your tongue out on the Blaw-ump! part.
Blaw-ump went the little green frog, Blaw-ump went the little green frog, Blaw-ump, blaw-ump, blaw-ump, blaw-ump, blaw-ump went the little green frog.
