Fishing Songs

Kids love this one!

Fishy swimming in a brook. (place hands together and make them swim)
Daddy catches with a hook. (Pretend you are fishing)
Mommy fries it in a pan (pretend you are stirring)
Baby eats him like a man. (pound chest gently while talking in a “manly” voice)

Have You Ever Gone Fish’in

Have you ever gone a fish’in on a warm summers day, and watched all the fishes in the water play. With your hands in your pockets and you pockets in your pants, have you ever seen the fishes do’in the hula hula dance.

Use appropriate hand movements to make this song even funnier. Of course you need to do the hula at the end.

Song Tune: The B-I–B-L-E that’s the book for me.

I had a little fish. His name was tiny Time. I put him in the bath tub to see if he could swim. He drank up all the water. He ate up all the soap. Now he’s sick in bed, with bubbles in his throat!

1,2,3,4,5 Once I Caught A Fish Alive (Fingerplay)

1,2,3,4,5 Once I caught a fish alive
6,7,8,9,10 Then I let it go again
Why did you let it go?
Cause it bit my finger so!
Which finger did it bite?
This little finger on the right!
