Fall Songs

This is sung to the tune of “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”

All the leaves are falling down,
Orange, yellow, red, and brown.
Falling softly as they do,
Over me and over you.
All the leaves are falling down,
Orange, yellow, red, and brown.

As you sing this, you can have the children slowly turn and twirl as they lower to the ground. (It’s a good “wind down” song after more active songs.)

Leaves are falling, Leaves are falling.
One fell on my head. Leaves are falling,
Leaves are falling, Yellow, orange, and red.

Autumn Leaves” (London Bridge)

Autumn leaves are falling down, falling down, falling down.( arms up high like a tree then lower as song goes on )
Autumn leaves are falling down, (lower your voice)
Down to the ground (squat down and continue with this finger play)

1 little leaf, 2 little leaves, 3 little leaves today. 4 little leaves, 5 little leaves,
Whoo! Blow them all away!

“The Leaves Are Falling Down” (The Farmer and the Dell)

The leaves are falling down, the leaves are falling down.
Red, orange, yellow, brown. The leaves are falling down.

“Oh, When The Leaves” (When The Saints)

Oh, when the leaves, fall off the trees.
Oh, when the leaves fall off the tree.
We know that it must be Autumn,
When the leaves fall off the tree.
