Date: 3-18-99To help the children understand Palm Sunday, my class has fun doing a role play. We make paper palm branches by cutting a fringed edge on a leaf shape cut from construction paper. Each child takes a turn being the donkey (complete with plush ears) and Jesus. The rest of the class waves their branches and throws their jackets while shouting "Hosanna! Jesus is the King!" |
