Find small gift boxes to place each item in, saving the most beautiful one for the Bible. Have the children open these gifts in order with the following poem; Gifts From God Here is the world so big and so round. Here is a flower that grows on the ground. Here is an orange so juicy and sweet. Here is a puppy to play at my feet. Here are my parent's so straight and so tall. But this gift of God's is the best gift of all.
7-10-00The Bible Game Have children to sit in a circle and pass a bible around and sing: The "Bible Song" "The bible, Yes! that's the book for me, I stand alone on the word of God." "The bible" When the bible lands in a child's hand, ask him or her what their favorite bible verse or bible story is (continue and go to the next child and so on). |
