On the last day before the Easter break, I did this to surprise my classes. I cut a bunny footprint out of cardboard. I then used this as a template for sprinkling baby powder onto the floor. The result was a floor full of big bunny feet. My assistant and I gave the children no clues or hints about how the footprints might have got there.

Cut an 8″ paper plate in half. Have the children attach white pre-cut bunny ears (don’t forget to color the middle pink) to one end and a cotton ball tail to the other end. They can then discuss and continue to make the eyes, nose, whiskers, and mouth………hopefully on the end with the ears and not on the end with the tail. This makes the cutest bunny ever and with very little prep!

Have children color large white bunny cut out of construction paper with crayons. Let them use gluesticks(Purple colored glue sticks work best because they can see the glue) to glue a large colored cotton ball on the rabbits tail.
