Baby Art

Make baby footprints:

Have the child make a fist. Apply paint to the side of their fist closest to the pinky finger. Have them press their fist to a piece of paper. That will make the main part of the foot. Now using their index finger dipped in paint, make the five small toes. I’ve used this idea to make baby announcements and thank you-s too!

In my Baby Unit we finger-paint with baby food and taste baby food (then compare it with the older child version. Ex: applesauce or carrots).

We fill baby bottles with washable paint and put them at the easels. We also add baby powder into the finger-paint.
