Alligator Songs


Alligator, (open thumb and pointer to make alligator mouth)
Children repeat and do same motion.
Looking for some food in the morning. Children repeat..
Next repeat the song but a little bit louder each time.
(two hands placed together at wrists to open for alligator mouth)
(arm at elbows placed together to make mouth)
Then really loud with the same words use your whole arms to make alligator mouth.
Last use on thumb and pointer tips of finger only and sing the song without letting any sound come out.


Alligator song: 5 little monkeys swinging in a tree (To tune of 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed)
Five little monkeys swinging in a tree,

Teasing Mr. ALLIGATOR, you can catch me, you can catch me….

Along came Mr. ALLIGATOR quiet as can be…….

And snapped that monkey right out of that tree! (Then 4 little monkeys, 3,2,1,0)


There was an alligator sitting on a log.

Down in the pool he saw a little frog.

In jumped the alligator!

Around went the log!

Splash went the water, and away swam the frog!


Dr. Jeans Silly Songs is a tape or cd that has a song on it called ALLIGATOR. It is a great song. Goes something like this.
